Measuring a Full Face Gasket
- Inner Diameter (I.D.): measure the inside edges.
- Outer Diameter (O.D.): measure across the gasket to each outside edge as illustrated.
- Bolt Holes: count the number of Bolt Holes around the gasket.
- Bolt Hole Diameter: measure across the insde edge of a hole.
- Bolt Circle Diameter: measure from the outside edge of one bolt hole and the inside edge of a bolt hole directly across from it.
- Thickness: measured using a measuring tape or calipers.
