Red Silicone Rubber with Fiberglass Insert
Fiberglass reinforced silicone sheeting is typically used for gaskets or seals requiring a resilient, non-porous sheet material suitable for operating temperatures from -100 to 500F but is not limited to such applications. The material is resistant to deterioration by weathering and engine oil and remains flexible over the temperature range noted. The fiberglass is centered between the 2 layers of silicone that gives the material dimensional stability and higher tensile strength.
